Top 5 Of The Most Shocking Eliminations From RPDR

Hello gorgeous people, hope you're having a wonderful day and today i'll be making a top 5 of the most shocking eliminations from Rupaul's Drag Race, including every franchise. Remember that this is just my opinion and you are free to have your own and i also want you to know that even though i don't agree with these eliminations and i still think they made good TV. Before starting this top, i just want to give the usual warning of SPOILERS AHEAD. 

5. Pangina Heals - UK Vs The World (Season 1)

The first season of UK Vs The World was full of amazing queens, very good challenges, very creative challenges, the lipsyncs were overall great and the eliminations were shocking. It was the first season that you could see that queens were being more strategic and more eager to take the crown. After sending home Jimbo in the week before, Pangina became the biggest threat of the competition because she had an amazing track record (2 wins, 1 high) and also she sent home the other biggest threat. So, when it came to the Snatch Game, i could already see that she was not going to do well at that challenge. I was right because she eventually ended up in the bottom, with the high possibilty of being sent home because of her journey/decisions throughtout the season. The Top 2 of that week were Baga Chipz and Blu Hydrangea and i already knew that Baga Chipz was going to send Pangina home because of what she did the week prior, which was sending Jimbo home, basically Baga wanted revenge for her friend which, in my opinion, it is the worst and childish reason for sending someone home. So the only hope for Pangina was for Blu to win the lipsync and send someone else home. While deliberating, Blu told Pangina that it was very tempting to pick her name since she was a big threat but at the moment she still didn't know what to do. Blu ends up winning the lipsync (which is not hard if your opponent is Baga) and she revealed that she chose to send home Pangina. Everyone was shocked including Rupaul and Michelle Visage. Pangina was sobbing while leaving the stage and you could hear her crying backstage. As a Pangina stan, i was so sad to see her go and i though it was so unfair for her to go home because she was slaying the season but after awhile, i realised that Blu made this decision in order for her to be closer to the crown because if Pangina stayed, she could probably made it into the finale and even could win the season so i could see why Blu sent home Pangina but it still hurts to see her go home, feeling she disappointed her country, her fans and even her culture. I'm glad to see that Pangina is so famous now and she didn't need to win that season to be the Queen of the World.

4. Manila Luzon - All Stars (Season 4)

All Stars 4 was a season that started amazing but after this elimination, every episode after, the ratings were so low and really showed the dislike of the fans about Manila's elimination. Until the episode of her elimination, Manila had 3 wins, 1 high, 2 safe and 1 low, never was in risk of getting eliminated until episode 8, the makeover challenge. In that episode, the Top 2 was Naomi Smalls and Mónet X Change while the bottom 2 was Manila Luzon and Latrice Royale. The most obvious decision was to send Latrice home since she was the worst on the challenge and also Latrice was the returning queen meaning she was already eliminated from the competition. The winner of the lipsync was Naomi Smalls and she revealed that she chose to send home Manila. Everyone was shocked of this decision and even more shocked and furious was the fandom (myself included). I was more furious because Naomi didn't do the best job on the challenge to be declared the Top 2 and also the fact that she said to Manila that she was her inspiration to start doing drag and was even her idol but then she send Manila home because "she wanted to" (her words, not mine). I get that Naomi wanted to make this decision because without Manila, she would be able to maybe to take the crown but Naomi was never going to win the season because she, until that point, was barely standing out, was in the bottom a lot of times and the makeover challenge was the only moment of glory for her so with that track record, she never would win the season. That is what i called being delusional. Still to this day, Naomi is proud of her decision and even thinks that she is so iconic for doing what she did but honestly, there were more iconic eliminations than this one so for her to think that she is iconic because of this moment just goes to show how shallow she is and how irrelevant her time on the show was if her only memorable moment of the show was sending Manila Luzon home. After the show, Manila keeps doing so much sucess and Naomi is famous but not at the same level as Manila's so i think we knew who really benefit from this moment.

3. Keta Minaj - Drag Race Holland (Season 2)

There is a few queens that i consider to be robbed but the ultimate robbed queen is Keta Minaj from Drag Race Holland Season 2. Keta was the clear front runner of the season having 3 wins, 2 highs and 1 safe placement until her elimination. With this track record, i thought she was going to be in the finale and would have an high possibility of becoming the winner. When she landed in the bottom 2, i thought she would slay the lipsync with no problem, which she did, she slayed the lipsync, was able to do some dancing in that outfit, which is difficult and considering she was up against a queen that she should have been disqualified for breaking the rules, it was obvious that everyone was expecting for Keta to move forward to the finale but for some reason that didn't happen and i was so shocked to see her go home that i honestly stopped watching the season, i didn't even watched the finale because i simply didn't care for the season anymore. The winner ended up being Vanessa Van Cartier, who is a phenomenal queen but Keta was the one that deserved the crown because of her journey throughout the competition. Not only she slayed on the runway, she was also an amazing actress, performer, sewer and also very funny. You can see how hurt she was, when she got eliminated and deep down she knew that the show at that was 100% rigged. After this season, it was announced that Drag Race Holland was cancelled which means for a while, we will not get another season from Holland which is so sad because i really like the drag there but i also think that one factor that played into this decision was the favouritism towards some contestants that was very obvious and also the riggory that happened especially during the second season. Since there's international All Star seasons, maybe we will see Keta again in our screens and getting that title that she totally deserves or maybe she will be eliminated the first time she steps in the bottom. We'll what happens for Keta in the future.

2. Shangela - All Stars (Season 3)

When i knew that Shangela was coming back (for the third time) for All Stars 3, i was so happy and excited because Shangela is one of my favourite queens from the show since season 3. Over the years, the fandom watched her grow and becoming such a succeful queen that it was just a matter of time for her to get back for All Stars. Let's just say that she definitely proved why she needed to come back, she showed that she can still do comedy, perform, play with strategy and the charisma of a star. The only thing that she still doesn't know how to do is sewing, even though she took some classes. Her track record was 3 wins, 1 high, 1 safe and 2 bottom placements and as you can see, she was very strong throughout the competition and one of the potencial Top 2 finalists but for some reason, Rupaul decided to throw a twist for All Stars 3. To decide which 2 queens would have the chance to lipsync for the crown, Rupaul left that decision for the eliminated queens, in other words, the eliminated queens would hear every queen from the Top 4 and then had to decide by themselves which 2 queens would advance to the final lipsync. When Shangela knew about this twist, she already knew that her possibilities to be in the Top 2 would be very small since she eliminated 3 queens from that group, also one of the queens was eliminated in order for Shangela to stay in the competition so the cards were already against her. She still talked to them and they seemed supportive of her and it seemed that they really were maybe going to give her a chance at the Top 2 but for some reason, she only got 1 vote and it was from Thorgy Thor, one of the queens that Shangela sent home and also had a little drama with her in the comeback episode and also on the episode 2. The other queens voted for the two queens who had the weakest track records of the Top 4 which is ironic and also hypocrite since the basis of every elimination was track record but when it comes to choose the Top 2, they chose by their hearts and not with their heads and also not being fair. When it was announced, you could see the hurt on Shangela's face because she felt that all the work she did was for nothing because in the end, she didn't get the crown that she absolutely deserves. The fandom was furious with this decision and with the twist and Shangela is considered one of the most robbed queens from the show (which i agree, of course) but what makes my heart warm is to see the sucess that she had after the show, starring in "A Star is Born", being the first drag queen to ever walk the red carpet on the Oscars and many more things she accomplished. I truly love Shangela and can't wait to see what she does next.

1. BendelaCreme - All Stars (Season 3)

In my opinion, BendelaCreme's elimination is the most shocking that ever has been on this show. Mostly because it was not an elimination meaning somebody chose to send BendelaCreme home, BendelaCreme herself chose to go home so it was a self-elimination and it was shocking not only because it was the first ever self-elimination but also Bendela was the clear frontrunner of this season. Her track record was 5 wins and 1 safe placement and 4 of those wins were consecutive. She made this decision in the comeback episode where she chose Morgan McMichaells to come back to the competition and then BendelaCreme had to send one of her castmates home and since she couldn't do it, she chose to eliminate herself which left everyone shocked and also thinking "What the f*ck has happened, right now?", everyone was shocked, even Rupaul couldn't process what had happened. Bendela was tired of having to eliminate people and so this was her way to escape that but also, in my opinion, she knew that coming into this competition she would, eventually, had to send someone home so she should have been more prepared. I get that it must be difficult to eliminate somebody but it's the name of the game so if she was capable of doing that, she shouldn't had come back. I have to say, though, this was a very good slap to the producers because she went against her rules and still got what she wanted in the end so, for her own sake, she made the best decision but as a viewer this was shocking and a little bit upsetting because with Bendela gone, who would be the winner of the season and also if she was not allowed to do this, which queen would had she picked to go home. There's so many questions still to be answered but nonetheless, it was still a very good TV moment and since this "elimination", All Stars was never the same and i think for the season after, this type of elimination was not allowed. In my opinion, Bendela only did All Stars just to promote herself, i think deep down she knew that she was already an All Star and was only on this season so people could see it and fell in love with her again and to this day she is still the only on an US season to win 5 challenges, she still holds that record, so she also had that in her résumé.
